In addition, he works within industrial settings, as both a staff chiropractor at the Emeryville Occupational Medical Center and as a member of integrative teams that provide on-site care to companies around the Bay. This work has led him to develop and staff Onsite Health and Wellness Programs for companies dedicated to the wellbeing of their work force.

Dr. Fishman is also an electric bass player who has performed with Bay Area bands since the punk rock days of 1970’s San Francisco. As a result, he has a special interest in treating musicians and other performing artists. This evolved into the Musicians Chiropractic Project, a program that is dedicated to the specific health needs of working artists.

He taught for over twenty years at New College of California where his courses included “Contemporary Health Studies”, “Power, Politics, and Healing”, “Scientific Reasoning” and many others.
